PI Arrival Times for Swimmers

Good afternoon,  touching base to give you good information and arrival times for our swimmers for the Ponderosa Invitational.

LOCATION:  KLEIN OAK

Volunteers - the below arrival times are for your swimmers.  They may be different from volunteering times of arrival.  Be sure to know BOTH volunteer time of arrival and swimmer time of arrival.  All 13 & over swimmers not swimming in the relays, please be sure to come to ready bench to help walk younger swimmers and especially relays to the pool.  It is critical we keep swimmers organized and keep the meet moving in a timely manner.

1. PROGRESSIVE RELAY SWIMMERS: 

                  Saturday Warm up Arrival at 6:45 AM - Brandon Vo, Zion Thomas, Cole Crawford, Caleb Huynh, Davon Francis, Maddie Nguyen, Cameron Crawford, Elizabeth Burnham, Connie Williamson, Eloise Williamson

                  Sunday Warm up Arrival at 7 AM - Aden Cabrera, Zion Thomas, Cameron Siemer, Caleb Huynh, Logan Clare, Maddie Nguyen, Audrey Huynh, Elizabeth Burnham, Madison Lewis, Amy Nguyen

If you are NOT warming up you MUST be at the pool by 8:15 AM LATEST.  At 8:15 AM if you have not texted me (832-259-1170) or have not arrived, I will call in the alternate.  If the Alternate is called you will NOT swim the relay.  The alternate will swim the relay.

 

2.  AGE GROUP RELAY SWIMMERS:  There is NO WARM UP for this group. 

10 & Under relay swimmers must arrive at the pool between 11:30 AM - 12 PM.  TEXT ONLY - 832-259-1170 if you are running late. 

11 and over relay swimmers must arrive at the pool between 12 PM and 12:30 PM.  TEXT ONLY - 832-259-1170 if you are running late.

At your cut off time, we will start contacting alternates.  If the Alternate is contacted you will NOT swim the relay.  The alternate will swim.  Be on time and text if you are late.  I am running ready bench and will NOT be able to hear anything in that gym.  TEXT ONLY!!!!  and text BEFORE you're time is up.

 

3.  PI INDIVIDUALLY QUALIFIED SWIMMERS:  Attached is the meet timeline.  Please let me know if you are NOT warming up with the group.  This is your time to showcase your accomplishments.  Be sure you HYDRATE today and tomorrow and certainly have a nice eggs, bacon, potatoes breakfast to keep you fueled throughout the morning.  No sugary items.  you'll crash and lose energy.  keep yourself naturally fueled with the food you eat.  Bring lots of water and gatorade as needed.  Lastly bring 2 or 3 towels depending on how many events you're swimming.  and bring something warm to wrap up in.  the cafeteria and gym get cold. 

 

4.  Coach Tori is your coach on deck for this meet.  Be sure to go see her after your races for feedback.  I will be helping at the ready benches and giving you last minute tips before going to the pool.  Look for Coach Kennedy running paperwork behind the block who will also be there should you need anything.  :)
